General meetings of the Needham Democratic Town Committee are opportunities to discuss issues of concern to local Democrats, and plan electoral and other activities in support of Democratic candidates and policies. North Carolina was one of the brightest spots in the country — a Democratic landslide for governor, the only state in the country where Democrats picked up two statewide offices, breaking the gerrymandered supermajority in the state House.
