General meetings of the Needham Democratic Town Committee are opportunities to discuss issues of concern to local Democrats, and plan electoral and other activities in support of Democratic candidates and policies. From time-to-time, elected officials and other speakers are featured. These meetings are open to anyone who wishes to attend.

November 13 Meeting with Jeffrey Shapiro, Inspector General of the Commonwealth

Our next meeting will be held at the Needham History Center, 1147 Central Ave (in front of the Newman Elementary School). Doors open at 7 pm for social time; business to start about 7:30 pm. As always, the meeting is open to all.
Our guest speaker will be Jeffrey Shapiro, Inspector General of the Commonwealth. Jeff held many positions in the legislative and executive branch in Massachusetts government before he was jointly appointed, in 2022, by Gov. Baker and AG Healey to the non-partisan position of Inspector General. A long-time resident of Needham, Jeff was a member of the Needham DTC for many years, and is a past president of Temple Beth Shalom.
