General meetings of the Needham Democratic Town Committee are opportunities to discuss issues of concern to local Democrats, and plan electoral and other activities in support of Democratic candidates and policies. From time-to-time, elected officials and other speakers are featured. These meetings are open to anyone who wishes to attend.

Earth Day Stand Out for the Climate & Our Democracy – Needham

Join your Needham neighbors for an Earth Day, pro Democracy, protest/vigil. Participants will stand on the sidewalk on Highland Avenue opposite the library. Bring a sign or just come and stand with others who are concerned.
Under the Trump administration, the US has withdrawn from the Paris Climate Agreement, rolled back environmental regulations, halted leases for offshore wind, made major cuts in climate research, promoted more burning of fossil fuels, and slashed the EPA budget, and continues to assault environmental initiatives.
